Spend a day in the park celebrating the Earth’s plants, animals and insects while learning how you can help protect our delicate ecosystem. The Railyard Park Conservancy is bringing Earth Day back to the Railyard Park, Santa Fe’s award-winning green space.
The fun will include dozens of community booths with interactive activities, live music and sustainably sourced food vendors. Come face to face with raptors, wolves and other threatened animals in honor of this year’s theme – Protect our Species.
Did you know that the number of animals living on the planet has fallen 40% since 1970? Or that insect populations have declined by between 60 and 75% in some places of the world?
There has never been a more pressing time in history to take part in the global Earth Day movement than right now, so stay tuned for more details about this free, family-friendly event!
