The Railyard Stewards support vibrant public use of the Railyard, and lively events that build community and enhance civic life. We work closely with the Santa Fe Railyard Community Corporation, our partner organization that permits events in the Railyard Park + Plaza, to bring this space to life for our city.

THE SANTA FE FARMER'S MARKET

The market that began with a handful of farmers in the late 1960s is now by far New Mexico's largest farmers' market and one of the most widely recognized markets in the United States and beyond. The Santa Fe Farmers Market represents over 100 active vendors and features hundreds of different agricultural products. To further meet Santa Fe's demand for fresh, local produce, the Market began operating year-round in 2002, and with more and more farmers using extended growing techniques, the "off season" becomes more successful every year.
