Tree Pruning Workshop at the Railyard – February 20
The City of Santa Fe and the Railyard Stewards are happy to offer a Training Young Trees Workshop at the Railyard Park on Saturday, February 20th from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Participants will learn and practice basic pruning techniques on the newly planted ornamental crab apple and other trees at the Railyard Park. The training and pruning of newly planted trees to avoid health problems as they grow will be demonstrated. The class will be led by Robert Wood, the Integrated Pest Management specialist and an arborist for the City of Santa Fe.

Please bring work gloves, proper shoes (boots are best), water, sunscreen and a hat.
Cost: $10.00 – some scholarships are available. All proceeds go to support the Railyard Stewards.
Participants are asked to meet near the parking lot behind Site Santa Fe.
