THE RAILYARD IS IN BLOOM!
The Railyard Park is bursting out with roses and penstemons, come and enjoy! The Stewards have a lot to offer this spring and summer, and we would love to have you join us. All events are open to the whole community, from beginners to gardening gurus. Be sure to bring a water bottle and a hat. You can bring your favorite gloves and tools if you like, but we also have tools and gloves to share. Meet at the Railyard Park performance green–the grassy slope near the train tracks.
EARLYBIRDS GARDENING DAYS
Tuesdays and Wednesdays, now 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. to beat the heat. Railyard Stewards care for the 125 different varieties of plants in the Railyard Park. Come learn about high desert gardening while helping this innovative park look its best. All are welcome! Meet at the Railyard Park performance green.
Second Saturday of the month: June 12, 10 a.m. — Noon. July 10 & August 14, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Help maintain the community vegetable gardens and ornamental gardens.
PARK TOURS & GARDENING WORKSHOPS
► MIDSUMMER GARDEN CARE–SATURDAY JULY 24, 9 a.m – 11 a.m. Address your pests and more. A local farmer and member of the Master Gardeners, will guide attendees on caring for your garden in midsummer, when pests and problems are likely to take hold. This event will be hands-on at the Railyard Park! Meet at the performance green at the park. Held at the Railyard Park. RSVP to info@railyardpark.org or at 505-982-6975
